October 2008 - We are pleased to announce that Superior Electrical Supply of Sheboygan, Wisconsin has become a part of Viking Electric Supply.

Superior has successfully served the Contractor and Industrial markets since the Herman family founded it in 1964. The company’s President and co-owner, Andy Herman, will remain with Viking as the Branch Manager while his sister and co-owner, Kathy Wenzel, will continue to work with us as we transition through the change in ownership and business operating systems.

This merger will provide an excellent opportunity for further expansion of Superior’s and Viking’s business in eastern Wisconsin. Both companies share many of the same key vendor relationships while serving adjacent geographic markets.

Like Viking, Superior’s success is due to the fact that they have a group of long term, professional people that have focused on providing world class service to their customers.
